I wonder what the future of Wayne Rooney will be now! Will the new manager play him as a striker and we finally sign a midfielder? What will the future hold for players like Nani, Anderson and Hernandez.
Will our transfer targets be the same as before will our style of football change? Whoever the new man will be he has my 100% confidence.
The Summer transfers now!

I'm not sure the new boss will have the balls to make wholesale changes. I think Rooney will stay, Nani will be given a season to prove his worth, Ando will probably be sold.
I think signing a midfielder would certainly get the new manager off to a good start.

I think Anderson may be sold now. Nani will probably be kept hopefully. It all depends who comes in. I can't imagine the new manager will make wholesale changes, probably still only 1/2

What is Moyes and Rooney's relationship? Didn't one sue the other?

We could be about to lose Scholes, Fergie and Rooney in one summer.
What a dreadful day. Shiiiiity even. Gutted!

Stretford_Ender85,
Will Rooney leave when he knows he wont be played out of position anymore? Anderson will be sold, Scholes will retire and Fletcher will not return the same player imo.

Rooney won't leave. If a new manager comes in and sells Rooney he is piling even more pressure on himself.

Errrmmmmm
David Moyes and Rooney haven't apparently spoken to each other in nearly 9 years. And there was supposed to be a legal case between the two just after he signed. Not exactly best mates.
If Moyes is appointed it's another nail in Rooney's coffin.

You say they haven't spoken in 9 years? How do you know?
He would be mad to even think about selling the best English player.

If Moyes comes in then Rooney's gone. Why do youmthink he's been moping around the pitch for the last few months. Look at him in that Arsenal game, he barely ever got above jogging pace.
