Lennon to Everton

Strong rumours flying about that Lennon will be joining Everton to replace Moyes. I really hope he goes, he has created a poisonous atmosphere in Glasgow. I'll be glad to see the back of him. Don't think he's good enough to manage an EPL team to be honest.

Ooft, I thought this was a joke article....

I've given credit where it's due to good Celtic managers and players over the years, but this guy is/was neither imo.

A ginger manager with a temper issue? It'll never work.

So did I. Then i was gonna stick a tenner on Lennon if it was good odds Seems a cert to me. That Willy Hill knows his fitba....as I've found out to my cost this year.

Lennon will be found out in the PL.

This year Celtic have done well in Europe. But they had no pressure back home. And if you look at Celtic's recent managers and how they have done south of the boarder, it will give you an idea of how things will go.

Hell, Martin O'Neill won leagues and cups in Scotland. Walter Smith had Rangers go all the way to the Finals of a Europa. Times have changed since the 80s and 90s.

If anything Michael Laudrup would be ideal, but unlikely to leave Swansea. Maybe a foreign coach or someone from the Championship might work. Lennon would be a massive gamble. The one thing going for Lennon is that he has managed to buy some players who could command big fees later on such as Wanyama and that Korean player they sold to Swansea.

I think Everton would consider Lennon, he works well in budget, has great experience and his stock has never been higher with the champions league run.

But to me the biggest thing would be passion, I think Everton know if they got him in then the merseyside derby's would be lifted again, they have become dead stale but I think Lenny is the type to get his team up for it more than what has been recently.

Interestingly I read yesterday that Moyes has never won at Anfield, never win a trophy, hardly any European experience... United for relegation?

It would be great to see Utd slumping to midtable. Wonder how their fans would take it.

Why on earth would a Premiership club want a manager of Celtic or Rangers?
With all due respect, achieving success with these clubs has to be one of the easiest jobs in the world. I could probably do it, and the only management experience I have is from playing football manager on PC.
