Sorry to hear you are having problems. Unfortunately IE6 isn't supported. Which I suspect may be the browser at your work?

You can install google chrome frame without Admin rights. http://code.google.com/chrome/chromeframe/

or run Firefox portable http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable which can be run from the Desktop or a memory stick without installing.
