Palace vs Brighton: Thudd review

Went to the game on Friday night and I decided to review the performance from Brighton (being in the Albion end)

Kuszczak - Had a solid game, made two good saves and positionally was excellent, booked

Calderon - Up and down and coped with Zaha and Williams really well, unlucky not to score in the first half when Brighton dominated, solid player

Greer - Had an impressive game and handled Murray well, had problems against Whilbrahimovic , but great on the ball

Upson - Solid and a great leader, was too easy for him against Murray. held the line and used the ball well

Bridge - The lucky had Zaha in his pocket, Bolaisi (sic) gave him more problems, was easy for him at times going forward, Moxey had an awful game and just couldn't handle him.

Buckley - Should have gone at Moxey more often and had the beating of him, Poyet had the team well drilled and Buckley was contained to a inside wide role, came off

Bridcutt MOTM, Easily, great positional awareness, protects the back 4 really well. and tenacious and composed on the ball, considering his size he's a battler. Could well make the step up to the PL

Hammond - Should have scored with a header, great workrate and passion, and looks solid on the ball, does the simple stuff.

David Lopez - Didn't impact the play at all, very unaccustomed to the Championship, made some good passes, looks like he needs to settle

Orlandi - Played wide but did not have the pace to get beyond Ward, good on the ball and plays it simple, silky touch and style, great on set pieces.

Ulloa - Very isolated and had no support, should be linking the play up much better, looked good when balls into the box, unlucky on two occasions and could have scored twice

Palace much the better side in the 2nd half, could have well won it, Impressed with Jedanic and Williams,
