he didnt give anything up...he said he would evaluate his position as he does every year...the club suspended him.
he turned down a move to reading as it was not the right one for him....doubt other lower league managers would be so sensible

by suspending him for making innocuous comments like that, they have surely made his position untenable....highly unlikely to be in a position to start asking for large amounts of compensation after putting their manager in that position...may even be grounds for him to cancel his contract
