Guys please feel free to correct me if you think im wrong but if Chelsea draw against everton and arsenal win against Newcastle by 1 clear goal whilst also (at the same time!) scoring 2 more goals than Chelsea then there must be a playoff for 3rd and 4th...
Say for example if Chelsea drew 0-0 and arsenal beat Newcastle 2-1, if this happened the teams would both have:
the same number of points (73)
the same goal difference (+35)
the same number of goals scored (73)
This eventuality is solved by a play off at a neutral venue to decide who is placed in which position!
WHAT ARE THE CHANCES!

Chelsea and Arsenal 3rd/4th Place playoff!

I can see Everton taking a point at SF.
Just hope we don't bottle it

We might have a play off with Arsenal for 3rd place
"If at the end of the Season either the League Champions or the Clubs to be relegated or the question of qualification for other competitions cannot be determined because 2 or more Clubs are equal on points, goal difference and goals scored, the Clubs concerned shall play off one or more deciding League Matches on neutral grounds, the format, timing and venue of which shall be determined by the Board."

If the matches end:
Chelsea 0-0 Everton
Newcastle 1-2 Arsenal
Then it happens!

I'd almost prefer a play off to getting third against Newcastle, just for the novelty of it.
