So relieved we're safe and really hope we can kick on next season! If we can keep Benteke and strengthen our defence, we should be targeting a top half finish next year.

It's a shame as he is a natural goalscorer. But who will buy him? I mean the guy cost us £24 million. Can you see anyone paying more than £10-12 million for him?

I think we'd take £10m. There wouldn't really be a loss; for 2 seasons his goals kept us up, which is worth an awful lot.
Lambert isn't going to play him except as an end of match sub. Lambert might have rested Weimann more (I think he's played rather a lot for his first major season) and used Bent instead, but didn't, so it's obvious he has no future at Villa.

He will go surely.......
Benteke and Weimann need to be confirmed as staying as with Gabby we look very good going forward.
Delph has been fantastic along with Westwood and Sylla looked good against Chelsea.
It is still at the back we need strengthening and a new keeper in reserve.

Bent, Given, Dunne, Ireland, Hutton, Lichaj and Makoun will all leave the club, for certain. We MAY get £15m for the lot, with maybe a couple out of contract.
To this, you can possibly add El Ahmadi, Holman, Albrighton and Bannan.
I can see an extremely busy summer with may 10 out and about 7 in?
