watched full game, apart from bias commentary it was okay...lost to a dodgy pen sadly..at least there were chuffing highlights replayed every 2mins !!

Notice how the replays are extending so long now that they don't bother showing the other team kick off after a goal anymore...60 seconds might not seem a long time, but that is how long the goal replay lasted lasted t'other night...meanwhile the game had kicked off and the cameras returend to live action just in time to see the other team having a shot at goal.... They encroach a little more every week...in fact you can follow the routine...

goal is scored....cameras follow celebration...then replay button is pressed...

goal is replayed from 5 different camera angles...
10 second close up of fans...
10 second close up of player who scored....
10 second close up of manager....

back to live action....

Forget continuity...forget the flow of the game...it's only a matter of time before they miss a goal...

I know it's a bugbare of mine..but I'll bet there are between 60-100 action replay shots per game now, taking out 20 minutes of the live action...

Why they can 't split the screen and show the live game in one half and the incessant replay in the other I don't know..
