Released today was an article by Graeme Sharp, once famous for wearing the Everton strikers jersey....
In the article Graeme states:
Everton legend Graeme Sharp believes the vacant Goodison Park managerial post is probably too big for Celtic's Neil Lennon.
"I would be very surprised if Neil got anywhere near Everton" - Graeme Sharp
The Glaswegian striker won a collection of medals during more than a decade with the Toffees but reckons the lack of serious competition in the Scottish top-flight can only count against the Northern Irishman.
"I would be very surprised if Neil got anywhere near Everton. He has done OK at Celtic, but I'm not sure he has done enough to warrant the Everton job," Sharp told the Daily Mail. "Massive though Celtic are, this is a very difficult job in following Davie Moyes.
"Everyone knows what has happened at Rangers. People down here just expect Celtic to win the Scottish Premier League," he continued. "That might make people a little bit derogatory about Neil's abilities as a manager."

Now Graeme is quite entitled to his opinion, however would it be fair to re-word this when talking about Moyes himself in relation to the Man Utd job?
"I would be very surprised if David got anywhere near Man Utd. He has done OK at Everton, but I'm not sure he has done enough to warrant the Man U job" ?
Seems a strange set of comments to make when the previous manager came to the club after just over a season at Preston with no proven track record.
Im not saying that Neil should get the job but the lack of respect shown for a manager who HAS won things domestically and also shown strongly with celtic in the best club competition in the world is a little staggering...

Lennys won a one horse race. As the guy says in the link, everybody expects him to win it. That's before we get too lennys behaviour on the touch line. Most clubs don't want that nonsense
Did decent in Europe this year in fairness

Di canio has not been in near as much trouble with the efa as Lennon has with the sfa.
As mad as di canio is, he looks quite sane in comparison to Lenny.

Graeme agrees with me I see. A premiership side is way too big a job for a man with no class or dignity and winning a one horse league because of the disparity in finances with Celtic and the rest of scottish football.
Th ginger one is out of control and can you imagine him managing a team and not getting the decisions going his way on the pitch.
A more realistic target for Lennon would be a lower Championship team or Division 1 team in a couple of years.
He will also have to attend anger management therapy sessions like Suarez.

RE - hard to argue with that and dispells the myth that its just gers fans that think this "cause we are bigots"
