From the BBC live sports feed:
Sir Alex Ferguson was presented with a cake by the media prior to Friday's press conference in honour of the 26 years he has spent at Old Trafford.
"It's fully deserved," he joked. "There have been some times when I have not agreed with what people have written and when you write positive things I tend to dismiss them. But I have never held a grudge. It is not my style."
Fergie never held a grudge?

Alex Ferguson once halted a press conference after spotting Shaun Custis of The Sun. “What are you doing here?” he bawled. “I banned you last week.” “That wasn't me,” said Shaun, “that was my brother, Neil.” “I don't care!” yelled Ferguson. “You're banned as well. There's too many Custises in this bloody world!”
Yeah no grudges, just classic Fergie wumming
come on, lets be honest SAF has his bad moments who doesnt, but after soo many years and unpon retiring you want him to be holding on to past events, (even the bbc invited him) that way lovable sarcasm.

Ahh Liverpool fans, you have to laugh at them or you would cry for them...

SAF's hypocrisy is almost as bad as Liverpool fan's hypocrisy.
Actually no, that's ridiculous. I take that back.

The same hypocrisy most football fans possess.
It's a bit cringeworthy watching people on here make such a big deal of Ferguson saying something hypocritical, when it goes on on these boards on a daily basis.

I think it is a bit of an overstep to assume any punishments administered are the result of some kind of grudge...
I would think that the vast majority of punishments handed out in the world are nothing to do with grudges...

Yep, I sure can.
Some Liverpool fans on here seem to be getting their knickers in a twist though
