Why else would he offer Jon Otsemobor a new contract.
I am suprised they paid him at all - or perhaps the new contract states he will pay to play - or at least buy a season ticket (because he did little more than watch the game go by)
I think Robinson must be going

Is Anyone good enough for Bill?

Furz, yes lots, all I want is a defender that will be awake to danger and be able to stop crosses either by heading them away and covering the strikers or by stopping the ball being crossed in the first place. Jon doesn't do any of those consistantly enough.
He is 30 and slow, if there isn't a fast up and coming 20 year old defender in the Blue Square who is better then football is in a terrible state.
Or even someone in the development squad who deserves a chance.
One great goal doesn't make a great player, even f it was against the pub team

Somebody must be good enough, although everybody isn't.

He showed a fair turn of foot when he got us the corner against AFCK.

Furz
Somebody is very good, and even everybody is better than Jon.
Super, yeah but 10 minutes out of a whole season isn't a very good return on investment

A back line of Nobody, Anyone, Somebody & Everybody. Sorted.
Not a full back but I was impressed with Chris Hackett, Northampton in the play off semi finals (hard luck in final Cobblers, you took a hammering). He's ex Millwall and has a year of his contract with Town, but I would like us to sign him if possible.
In regards to the defence Robbo has to work out how to defend against Bradford's tactics and their players like Hanson. In the air we are too susceptible.

David Gray, Stevenage has been released. He might be worth a punt as it is thought he had a good season at right back and is only be released to the new financial rules.

Looks like your headline may well be right Bill - KR is reviewing the Blades job with "his agent"
I would have thought he would have been better placed to go for one of the Championship jobs which will come in.

Apologies, David Gray is available for transfer (not released) and it seems McCAll is favourite for the Blades job.

To be honest, Robbo stil hasn't acheived anything that would really make him attractive to a Championship team. With "better" managers currently unemployed, I am not sure he would be on anyone's list at the moment.
