GIGGS, BUTT AND SCHOLES TO BE NEW STAFF

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed three of his former players will be part of David Moyes' coaching staff next season.

Sir Alex confirmed that Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt will play an important role at the club going forward.

That was already established a while ago, he revealed. The planning has been in place for a long time to have Scholes, Giggs and Nicky Butt as part of the coaching structure here.

Steve Round I'm sure will come to Utd if he's not in the frame for Everton job. He's widely regarded as the best number 2 in the country by coaching boffins.

Phill Nev coming back in sort of a David Platt role at City makes sense too I suppose although he may want a break for a bit after retiring. Who knows.

Ironically, i think we`ve lacked a decent assistant sice quieroz left - no disrespect to Mickey Phelan, i just don`t think he`s that good. That said though, i think Rene is very underrated and hope he stays on at the club - but, when all`s said and done, the buck stops with Moyes

Mike Phelan has stolen a living. Not sure what it is he actually does.

I don't think Rene has been all that either. The standard of our football has been pretty poor for last couple of years considering who we are. The will and determination of the players and manager has got us over the line.

I think it's time to let both go and start with some fresh ideas.

Queiroz doesn't seem to be having a good time managing Iran, he walked out of a press conference last week after being insulted by a few journalists.

Do you think a European number two is nessesary for that experience, will moyes be allowed to bring in his own back room team?

In all honesty I don't think Moyes even needs to be there.

Fergie upstairs pulling all the strings and making all the decisions, the old guard still in the dressing room before, during and after the match saying what Fergie tells them to say.

I think it's a good move actually. I just feel bad for Moyes in a way.
