Now, regardless of what people may think of Arsene Wenger, one thing he constantly provides is stability and continuity. He gets a lot of stick, but for me should deserve credit for providing CL football on a 16th concecutive occasion for Arsenal.
However, this is where it starts for Arsenal. The Manchester Clubs, Chelsea and Everton will all have new managers next season, a perfect way for Arsene to use that continuity and stability as an advantage. For me because of the retirements and managerial departments this season, Arsenal have to do something next season. And, in truth it is probably their best chance of achieving something. No excuses from now on, IMHO.
After the defeat to Spurs this year, things may have looked a lot worse for Arsenal and their fans. However, Wenger stood up and led Arsenal to 26 points from a possible 30 since that Tottenham defeat. A huge reason as to why Arsenal achieved CL football this season.
Now, I hope, without sounding bitter, for the sake of Arsene Wenger that Arsenal win something next season and succeeded. It's obvious with the retirement of Fergie, this is the biggest chance for a lot of the clubs to do something now.
I have always said I think Wenger will win a trophy for Arsenal again. In truth I don't want Arsenal to win a trophy for the sake of Arsenal or their fans, but for the sake of Wenger because in truth he deserves success and more trophies more than anybody else.
Arsene Wenger Deserves Credit!

He's a legend. Best manager in the country, one of the best in the world. Love the guy with all my heart.

Sergio - it means when he really wants something he can get it, let's hope his desire is to really contend next season and win the whole lot.
when he said that his side wouldn't lose for the whole season, people laughed at him but he did it because he really believed it!
Let's hope that same passion and desire comes back next season!!!!

It's going to be hard for Arsene to win the league next season, regardless of managerial changes, we can't ignore the fact that the clubs WILL spend the mega-bucks.
It was in fact the first thing he touched on when asked the question by Geoff Shreeves.

Agree. That is why I feel he needs to buy now out of all the seasons people have begged him to buy. Does he need to sell? I don't know. But, one big signing changes everything.

We have no real marketable talent to sell. Sagna may go. That's all I can see leaving really.

I remember looking at our bench and whole squad in general, people generally used to say we have got RVP, Nasri and Cesc and VavaVoom but this season we had no one. Walcott once in a while.
Wenger deserves the credit but its so frustrating how we pick up league winning form when its too late. I think him and Bould have found a way of working together too which is great. I expect lots of investment and a genuine title challenge next season.
On this note thank yo Squilacci, Arshavin, Chamakh, Bendtner, possibly Sagna for your services to our club

Do you reckon Wenger will make a bid for Benteke?

No, we have Giroud. Although I think Benteke is a better player, Wenger won't go for somebody who is that similar.
