Their new managers will all need time to assess their squads, work out their strengths & weaknesses, where they need to strengthen and who they want to sign.
Arsene is at a huge advantage for the first time in a very long time. We may not have anything like the budget of at least two of those clubs but we have the opportunity to get our business sorted before the rest of the top four even get a sniff of our targets.
No excuses, for once lets take the fight to the rest of the League and the rest of Europe.
ps. My head says we'll make a net profit again this summer or maybe a net of +£20m at the very max. I just want so badly to be proved wrong!!!

I know there is a lot of optimism about what the season brings but can you really see wenger splashing the cash.
United will always be there and chelsea will probably spend in excess of £80M on the summer regardless of who their manager is. If it mourinho then they will be challenging for the title.
Our current squad lacks real world class quality (bar Santi) and we need to spend at least £60M this summer to be competitive

This summer is huge for us. Now we got 4th after another horrendous season, we must act quick in the summer and go for our targets regardless.
Then we need to start the season with a bang. I remember the 07 season where we started the season so well and then kept in going for a long time until Feb (I think we were 4pts ahead at one stage) but just we all know what happened next

The Arsenal fans are desperate not to hear excuses, particularly from our board who either need to back Wenger or be more honest about the state of our finances.
At the moment they're treating us like chumps by constantly saying there's loads of money to spend then selling our best players/replacing them with dross.

If I was an Arsenal fan,I also would be wary of the board,they're agenda seems to be self oriented,we also have reservations with our board, over certain issues.The real fans are just irritants to some of these people.
