Season's Reflection

Now we can reflect on a rather frustrating season for us.

1. The way we played this season has been like a toothless lion. In all the PL games I watched nobody kept the ball better than us but we lacked pace. We have been too slow and really cant penetrate tight defences hence the 1-0 wins.

2. Theo has been my player of the season but today showed me that he still has some distance to become the next Henry. Am I the only one who wants him to have a go at players on the right but keeps trying to cut inside or pass it for a one 2. Maybe he is still trying to prove to Wenger abt the middle. Theo remember when you out ran Liverpool twice, lets see more of that from you son.

3. New signings. Giroud has had a good season I like what I saw but I think we know that he is a plan B, would have complimented RVP well I think in a 4-4-2. He will do ok but only against the smaller teams. Work on your finishing son.
Santi Oh Santi Carzola what can I say. On your day you destroy and disect them but when you are quiet we really miss your creativity. Hoping wenger will take the load you have off you.

Podolski I dont know what the story is with him really. Is he injured. Did he have a falling out in the dressing room? But he is not getting invlolved enough. He gets the goals or the odd touch before a goal but he needs to get fit and start making runs. As far as I know Wenger's Arsenal teams our attacking play has not been reliant of being in the middle and staying there. Henry scored goals left right center, he needs to be a bit more mobile if he is on the left, Gibbs will support him.

Finally, Have we abandoned our youth system? This and last season, I havent seen any young players to look forward to trying to break into the team. Would love to see at least the likes of Eisfeld and Gnabry make 10 apps next season. But I think I know the problem with why that hasnt been the case. Arsenal makes sure it is their responsibility to keep games entertaining and we are not killing off games to gives us breathing space.

Wenger I love you, please give us a reason to fill the emirates again. Let us play Man U Chelsea and City as title challengers. I am begging you. The loss to Bradford and Blackburn wont happen again right? I hope so
