Summer spending

This summer is key to where we finish for the next couple of years. I reckon we have to spend big even if that means we run up a 30-50 million deficit. Now before you accuse me of lunacy I have thought this through. If we finish top 4 next year the champs league money will balance the books if we don't bale will go so his transfer transfer fee will balance it all out. Theres also the premier league money we'll get this summer.Ofcourse this is assuming he stays which if he doesn't then just spend what we get for him and anyone else we sell. And regarding the impact a spending spree could have on the stadium, I think it's a risk we have to take to stay in touch with the teams above us who will all spend alot this summer.

Also I agree with don(his article earlier today) when he said we have to sign players early, they should have a pre season together so we can actually start the league from week 1 and not when the window closes.

So anyway how much do you think we should spend this summer? And who should we realistically be looking to get in?
