Bridgford end

Been announced on the official site that the club are consulting with the local authority to move home fans to the lower Bridgeford. I know this has been in the pipeline for a while but it's nice to see something official and nice to see fawaz listening to what the fans want! Anyone who already has a season ticket allocated can change their seats free of charge.

It's funny how people assume shifting people about will CREATE an atmosphere/fortress.

It won't!

If people want to sing and shout, they already sing and shout. If they don't, the don't.

Shifting seats around will make f'all difference... and this isn't a dig at Forest, the home 'support/atmosphere' in most grounds these days is woeful, including Pride Park.

In Forest's case, having both goals as Forest fans only would certainly make it more intimidating for away teams as the home fans will be on top of them for both halves of the game rather than just the second half when they usually attack the Trent End.
It may not lead to more home fans singing than currently do but it would lesson the impact of the away fans, which I think may be part of the aim here.

When I sat in the Lower Bridgford for the season the Tent End was being built I thought having the away fans in the corner of the BC lower was great. They had two blocks of I remember rightly and there was still an atmosphere. If it was done then, surely it can be done now? Forest fans should have all the Bridgford End, and put the away fans in the BC lower... say about 4 blocks. It's not like anyone sits there anyway so it would be less disruption for Forest fans relocating.

I think the issue with putting fans in the Brian Clough Stand is a safety issue as you would have to get the away fans out of the ground and to their coaches which would be down at the back of the Bridgford End. The biggest factor in all of this will be segregation of home and away fans.

Will... They can put the busses directly behind the BC stand if they wanted. Also, only let away fans in at that Bridgford end of the BC stand. In all honesty it would be easier after a match as well because forest fans would not be walking through the away fans.

The turnstiles for the Upper Tier of the Clough Stand for the blocks adjacent to the Upper Bridgford are next to the turnstiles for T Block of the Lower Clough Stand where a lot of people suggest putting away fans so you would have no way of segregating home and away fans.
You also couldnt bring the away coaches closer to the Brian Clough Stand as you already have vehicles parker there and it would be pretty difficult with all the fans exiting the ground.
All problems that I would have thought they have already considered.
