Valdes is a horrific goalie. On par with Mannone. Keep Szczers and sign an experienced back up GK.

Probably will have as many medicals as Yann M'Vila did.

Even with 73 points, Arsenal just crossed the line in a photo finish. If Wenger don't strengthen the team and stick to likes of Gervinho then better tell a goodbye to win "anything."

Wenger has no chance but to spend big.
If we go into the new season with 1 or 2 average signings then its time for wenger to move on.
Chelsea is the team I am most worried about. With Mourinho coming back and the money they will spend, it's hard not to see them being title challengers

Arsenal do need two forwards, because they will lose
Arshavin during summer and also I feel that Gervinho
just like the other forwards Bendtner,Chamakh and Park who have been out on loan are simply not good enough.
Higuain would be a genuine leader of the line to compete with Giroud.
Jovetic is probably more suited to the second strike role ie someone who can unlock defences, which
was what Arshavin should have been expected to do
at Arsenal.
Gonalons is one of a number of good defensive midfielders who could be recruited to fill a gap in our
team. Others to be considered are Strootman,Bender
brothers,Capoue and Wanyama.
I agree that the right full back position is a priority. Frankly Sagna has not performed well this season and Jenkinson has yet to convince me that he should
be a regular starter in first team. The other dilemma is
that Bellerin aged 17 was one of two players in our
U21 team who stood out as someone likely to make the grade, but clearly he will not be finished article for
2-3 years.
Goalkeeper is a dilemma. Do you write off Szczesny
as many do or will he improve with maturity? My view
is the latter, but in meantime you need on our books
an experienced goalkeeper who can compete with him for first team place, but not be seen as replacing
him.
The only other position, which needs to be resolved
is who will become 4th string Centre Back to replace
Squillaci. Three is not enough. We need a competent
defender, but not someone who will want an automatic first team place.
