Congratulations Crusaders for having the guts to challenge the financing of Windsor Park by the N.I. Football Association. Where the hell are all the other clubs? Are they afraid of confronting the situation. N.I. football is already on it's knees playing before smaller crowds each year, with the exception of Cliftonville! If this nonsense is allowed to happen then Linfield will end up playing with themselves.
N.I., please use whatever money you have and build a modern stadium and stop pumping money into this ancient dump which belongs to ONE club!

Not only are you a moron, you're an ARROGANT moron! Try to stay with the topic and quit playing the fool!

Seems I'm the only one to make any sort of relevant comment then.
But of course, it's a thread about football in NI. It had to descend into name calling and them v us sooner rather than later. Good job lads

Belmonty
Apiologies to you but I have been on the NI boards since the old BBC days and have always become involved where there is an honest discussion without ulterior motives.
No personal offence to you but you havent obviously been on here to know what this clown is like.
Anyone sensible wants to discuss this matter feel free.

Well, Crusaders won the first round. A judicial revue is being launched.
As a Glenman I'm not sure what to think here. I, obviously, don't want the blues to get any benefit but the international team really could do with a modern stadium ASAP.

Greeny
A lot of Bluemen were firmly against the idea from the beginning as it will be crazy about 1,500 people watching week to week in an 18,000 stadium.
Just hope that Crusaders know what they are doing. I know a few of their supporters who travel everywhere with NI and are up in arms, as they realise this could be the death knell of any new stadium. Funds timetable runs out shortly.
Should have built the stadium in the Titanic Quarter and rent it out to Glentoran

But then the Glens would be playing in a near empty stadium every week. And probably paying rent they can't afford.

Exactly
Then the rest of the country can moan and whinge about your lot getting everything, and leave us Bluemen in peace
Makes you wonder why the rest of the clubs have kept quiet !!

Manfrom,
I've been on the BBC board for many years prior to JA606 and usually the exchanges between contributors have been good-natured. However, for years this guy with the * after his name usually resorts to sarcasm and name calling whenever individuals disagree with his viewpoints. I agree that, out of frustration, I lowered myself to his level and should not have. This outcome of this matter could determine the survival of our football league!
This particular thread contains terms FROM HIM like "clown", "moan", "whinge" "your lot" plus his original disrespectful comment, rather than addressing the actual topic.
I too am a Glentoran supporter, but I tip my hat to the Crues. for the step they have taken and evidently a judge (who must be a whinger, or a moaner, or a clown) agrees!
Enough said, I don't think we have heard the last of this story! Good-bye and Good luck!

Crusaders, again a great job in beating the Blues. And once again the Linfield fans showed their class by not showing up for the game. What a bunch of weenies!
