Chairman - top top man

Just read the message from our chairman on the OS, link here:
http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2410525,00.html

Either this guy is the real deal, an inspirational leader in the Churchill mould, or we are being taken for the biggest ride of our lives. If he means what he says - and I believe he does - we are truly blessed to have him and his family involved in our club. Indeed, I'd go further and say we are the luckiest club in England. I'd rather have the Thais than the russian guy at Chelski, or the dubious folk at Man City.

All hail to Vic and Top, lets hope they lead us to the promised land, they deserve it every bit as much as we the loyal - and long suffering - fans do.

Any new owners will talk about taking the club to the Premiership, competing in the Champions League, etc. Talk is cheap. The real indicator is the amount of money they spend on players, and your owners so far seem to have backed up the talk.

Myhammer, we've heard all this Premiership/Champions league talk from previous (comic) owners. If you read the actual link, it's not that that we're all so proud about. It's the total honesty and apparent love and respect our owners have for our club and the fans. As you say, talk is cheap. Anyway, gloves off and let battle commence!!

I think you only have to look at what the club did at the Real Madrid game to see that they genuinely care about the club and the fans.

They could have quite easily made us fork out the cash to watch the match and then expect us all to clear off home, but they put loads of entertainment out around the ground and made a brilliant day of it.
