Just read an article on the PL board about average increases/decreases in ST prices for next season.
A lot was made, by our resident bitters, about our 3.65% increase when it was published. Fellaini's, Alas & co were quick to call out the club for 'pricing fans out of the game' and slated the owners for only being in it for the money.
Everton's average increase in ST prices for next season.......4.43%.
What have Fell, Alas and co had to say about this? Not a peep , funny that. Considering Everton struggle to sell their ST's you'd think they would be up in arms about it.

Red.
Match going reds complained about the prices.....Nothing from match going blues so far and ST sales I hear are going well......even without a manager!

So £15 is acceptable, but £25 isn't?
One team fills there stadium and has demand for tickets, the other doesn't.

Which is the higher number?

You still don't see that in real terms, Liverpool fans will pay more.

I know we'll pay higher. But if there's demand for tickets, the price will always go up.
Can a club that struggles to sell ST's afford to put them up?
But this isn't my original point. My original point is that you, Alas etc have been incredibly quiet about your ST rise, when you had plenty to say about ours. You either didn't know about the rise, or are happy about it.

How many of the ST we sell didn't we manage to move?

Why would I know about a rise?
I paid for my ticket as an early renewal, when were the increases announced?

My feeling is that this is the sort of thing supporters of both clubs should be concerned about rather than point scoring.
Rises in prices mean your average Joe can't go to the match as much as they would like and that's pretty sad.

Makes an interesting read, £89 to go to 17 home games a season!
The problem is that the PL is so focussed on money now that something like this will never happen.

Weren't the ST prices at Anfield frozen last year? Or wouldn't you know?
