out of going to the match.
The number of under-16s securing a full Season Ticket increased by 39% for the 2012/13 season and this was followed by a 157% increase in the number of juniors becoming Half Season Ticket holders since December.
To continue bringing youngsters through the turnstiles and make football affordable for families, the Club has committed to maintain the low-price Season Ticket for children in Year 6 or below, and junior Blues (school years 7-11) will have their prices FROZEN in all areas of the stadium, including the Family Enclosure.
It's great to see a club looking to encourage families to go to games.
Everton make sure families are not priced

Anyway, Dr Phil. The point is yes £710 is on the high side to start off with. But the club only have a range of between £710 & £850 for season tickets. What percentage of the lower tickets are offered by clubs like United, Newcastle etc?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Man Utd have 19 price sections red_man and 11 of those sections have prices cheaper than your cheapest seats and only 8 dearer than your cheapest seats.
Newcastle United have 9 price bands and guess what 6 of them are cheaper than Liverpool fc cheapest tickets.
I've done my homework on that,so I still say supporting Liverpool is as far as expense the 3rd worse choice to make.BTW the two more expensive teams are London based where the average earnings are considerably more than those in Liverpool.
I await your response

But ass TOOR said, so what if local fans on lower incomes are being priced out of going?
They have an out of town group of fans(London based) who can afford to go!
It's funny that the RS mock Everton being called the peoples club, however its tickets and ST's are priced to allow these'people' to attend home games at their local football club!
Maybe this is why outside of the promoted clubs we had the largest increase in average attendance?

If only Liverpool had a bigger stadium...they could have a scouser section and keep the prices at affordable rate for the locals

They have been building a new stadium/improving/expanding for the last 10 years. Its cheaper to just up the ticket prices rather than risk investing in seats that tourists may not fill

Only scouse adults are welcome tho. My old man had to pay an adult price for a childs seat once. He was told there wasn't any child seats left. You've got to give LFC credit here.I don't know any other club that provides special seats for kids.Maybe they come with a booster and straps.

Surely you must know about there season ticket waiting list. Some Liverpool posters seem to think even increasing the capacity to 60,000 wouldn't be enough

What are they waiting for G&H missed a trick and so are the new owners, ROI would be nearly instant!

It's as though both sets of owners are sceptical of the numbers on the waiting list being correct.
Surely with all the locals having to watch home games in pubs and on streaming websites they would easily find 15,000 -20,000 seats would fill instantly. After all its only £725 a season ticket. You are looking at £13million to £15million return in ticket sales alone. It's a no brainer for their billionaire owners

That's £13-£15million per year not allowing for price increases

If they build it.....will they come as tourists?
