Will Cesc still be captain if he stays?

Well? If Barca suddenly pull out of the deal for Cesc or Arsenal finally tell Barca to stuff off and Cesc remains a Gunner....

Will Wenger still give him the captain's armband?

In my opinion I really want Vermaelen to get it. Prefer a strong CB leading the team and he can give some players further up the pitch a good shouting at should they need it.

RVP will probably get it as he's been captain before, has been at Arsenal longer and gives his heart and sole to the club.

Either way, will be interesting to see what happens if Cesc stays
