I think they will keep challenging. They are losing a quality player in Gotze and Lewandowski might move on. Nothing new to them. Their defence has been the same for 3 years. In the 2010-11 season they won the league, Nuri Sahin was their best player, Bundesliga Player of the Year and in quite a few European teams of the year. That season Lucas Barrios was their top scorer. Sahin went to Real Madrid and Barrios got injured. 2011-12, Kagawa and Lewandowski stepped up. They won the league again, Kagawa was Bundesliga Player of the Year and Lewandowski scored 30. Kagawa moved to United. They signed Marco Reus and Gotze stepped up. This season they made Champs league final. Now they lose another quality player.
Nothing new to them. Let's see who Klopp signs. Looks like Sahin will be back playing for them again next year and its close to the same team he left. They are all young too. I would not write them off at all. I think they will get better.

The main reason Sahin ddint work out at Liverpool was because he wasnt playing in his preffered deeper role enough. He is a fantastic player but can you see him getting one of Gundogan or Benders spots in the team? Im not so sure

A great club. Pity they couldn't win it. If it had gone to extra time and penalties, who knows. With a home ground that holds 80,000 and regular champions league income, they will have the money to replace quality with quality if not promote from within.
