Montpellier boss.

Wants to come to England and says would even go to championship for the likes of leeds utd or forest.he may of won French league but even if leeds or forest were looking for new manager it would be too much of a risk to take him on.

Same old hackneyed arguments over Revie and Clough...the times I've heard the same old, same old..they were both great managers each with their own specific management gifts...Clough was successful with 2 teams over shorter periods of time, while Revie built teams at Leeds from the early 60s to early 70s...incidentally Clough advocated Revie to be England boss many times in his newspaper columns! Also from my Leeds point of view when Clough was Derby boss, in his usual inimitable way, he would goad Revie not be bothered turning up at the Baseball Ground, because they would get beat! Anyway Leeds did turn up for the matches and usually won, despite Framncis Lee diving from the highest board...great times kept the media talking for days! Haha

Well, a waste of time looking at this bull, its a common fact that Revie and Clough were both great managers, but when a manager from somewhere outside the world of these two managers says he'd be interested in any of the two's post!..

WORLD WAR FOUR raises its loving head!..

Aint we lucky world war three will be fought in real life and not on the Forest Leeds Boards?.

FFS, some should grow a pair and admit both were good and both deserve the respect that death brought them!.

Respect is the order of the day and these two had as much as anyone in the world of football!..

Well said LufcGermany

Eddie don't worry too much about the pit closures. One day the Chinese will have the people of Yorkshire working down them holes again.

Both were very good managers but to say Cloughie had his success over short period of time is wrong. I'm not sure exactly of the exact years but He won his promotion with Derby in the late 60's early 70's and his last one at Forest in 89 which means he was winning things for nearly 20 years. Many people only look at the 3 years between promotion and the 1980 European Cup but there was 12 years between the league title and the 89 League Cup.

Has anyone figured out what the point of this thread is yet? Ridiculous!

I understand the point was too say that are two clubs are the biggest in the championship but it changed into several other debates, that's what happens on forums

Respect to the two that always get such a reaction out of their after life!.

I wonder if it sickens them to know how we talk about them, or if they'll be downing a pint or ten and laughing at the good old times!.

There's always one small ingredient missing when these two come together!..

Respect!..

I might be talking out of my gunga here, but I think as much as they loved eachother in front of the camaras, they had a lot of respect for eachother!.
