The first monitoring period for FFP is over or almost over is it not? It covers the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons. Clubs should be nearing to handing in their FFP information to UEFA.

If any club has made a loss of over €45 million, they'll face a sanction. Let's see what UEFA do if any club has failed to comply.

Are Bayern actually going to sell a player who won them the Champions league??
--
I don't see why not. He may have won them the Champions League by scoring the winning goal, but this is Guardiola's decision.

Rumours circulated that he wanted him on the transfer list due to his attitude and I doubt Pep is going to stand for his "I'm doing this on my ones" attitude.

The goal he scored was down to bad defending, the other chance he had was down to sheer luck as the ball fell to him, which he failed to square. That's happened on one to many occasions, where even all football fans ridicule him for his decision making.

It's not like Munich can not find a replacement, or with the players they have, even need one.

Let's not forget that Robben wasn't even first choice for Bayern up until Kroos got injured.

I thought he give an interview that he wanted to stay at Bayern but with Pep in charge, it makes sense if he does leave.

Remember that Fergie got rid of some established stars after '96 and the double to bring in the kids, so I think you'll find that most top clubs do what is best for the club, and are not ruled by sentiment.

Everyone is raving about Lampard after the season he has had, my gut feeling is he will get an extra year, have an 'ok' or not great season next year and all the chelsea fans will be wanting him out!!!

There will always be players on our books who one fan or another doesn't think should be there, and at this rate most of the squad would be shipped out! One or two may leave, but making wholesale changes rarely works, and you need a strong nucleus in a squad to maintain league challenges year in year out.

Are there players in the squad who I think should be moved on - yes. But you can't ship everyone out, especially if quality isn't coming in to replace them.

Fellaini will be our only major signing. You can't almost guarantee it. Other than Zaha obviously who has already joined.

Rooney will end up staying and hopefully Nani will sign his contract.

That will be it for us.

Good analysis, couldn't agree more.

More one sided than the SPL

He looked like he would have joined United in a heart beat given the chance. All the players are at two teams (soon to be 1) in the Bundesliga. Even third rate teams such as Liverpool have class players in Suarez and Stevie Me in the Prem League.

----------------

Bayern have won the title 2 times in the last 5 years, United have won it 3 times in the last 5 years. Bundesliga is clearly getting better in quality, they also had the most 3 representatives get through to the round of 32, better than England and Italy.

Kiessling has scored just as many goals as Suarez this season. KDB has also had just as good a season as Gerrard, just as an example of two. Add to that players like Schurrle, Xhaka, Szalai, VDV, Heung-Min Son, Wiese, Michel Bastos, Drazler, Huntelaar, Papadouplaoepoalapoeoalalos, Diego, Acquah..

Blue Kenyan

So you have £100K.

Who do you bet on winning the Bundesliga next season? And who do you bet on winning the PL?

I'm pretty sure the PL is the most unpredictable big league in the world and the Bundesliga now is one of the most predictable.

Some people do underestimate the quality of players outside the top two clubs in Germany.

The ignorance people have of the Bundesliga is very annoying, yes Bayern and Dortmund are the 2 best teams and Bayern will most likely win the league next season but there are still quality players throughout the league. You only have to look at many of the players Dortmund and Bayern have now that have been bought from the other teams in the league, Reus (Monchengladbach), Gundogan (Nuremberg), Subotic (Mainz), Bender (1860), Schieber (Stuttgart), Piszczek (Hertha), Neuer (Schalke), Dante (Monchengladbach), Mandzukic (Wolfsburg), Pizarro (Bremen), Boateng (Hertha), Gustavo (Hoffenheim), Gomez (Stuttgart).

The league is incredibly healthy and those who think only Bayern and Dortmund have the best players simply are not aware of any other teams.
