I think we'd struggle to get 15m for him

Was a fan of his because he clearly has the ability. There's times when he actually looks like a class DM, most recently being when Di Matteo was manager. Since then he's regressed again

I think mikel is the epitomy(sp?) of a jack of all trades, but master of none or whatever the saying is.

He's big but not really that strong, he's not quick, he's a good short passer at times but very slow and easily picked off. He cannot shoot obviously.
But the biggest thing i've been dissapointed with over the years is his inability to learn how to play positionally. He is always bypassed and caught out by simple things like throw ins and always lets the opp. AM get straight through to our defence.

Yeah, when he takes an age to release the ball is the worst. The way most Chelsea fans reacted to Romeu's performances under Avb pretty much showed how Mikel has been a let down

I'd sell him, but need a replacement first... I'm not entirely sure who we'd realistically get because Javi Martinez name was thrown about but he is definitely not going to leave Bayern

The reason I'm so passionate about Mikel being rubbish is because he's so overrated yet people praise him?

It's got so bad that when we beat a terrible team, people will say "everyone played bad today but Mikel was one of the only people that played well" giving him praise?

They need to understand that Mikel played the same as he usually did/does and that everyone else had an off game

I'd definitely get rid of Essien before Mikel.

But I agree with the fact that the best he'll be is a squad player. He never gets put in any 'ideal' first XIs for next season which is the problem.

Leave Mikel alone. I remember sometime back when fans were calling Drogba all kinds of names and want him sold, and now he is a legend.
Playing for different managers didn't help, just be patient.

Mikel's been here for years and has improved so slightly that he's still not good enough for a top 4 team!! why can't people see this?

keep wishing guys, the only rumours around is Luiz to be sold by J. Mourhino, You can call Mikel crap for all you care that doesn't change the fact that he will remain with the team this season. one thing I know for sure is that JM will prefer Mikel in the DM position compare to Luiz.
