Trapp jut doesn't rate Houlihan which is a shame considering the season he just had. Gibson is a starter for a top 6 pl club and is a bette player than Whelan.

Ciaran Clark's had a good season and is only out now due to injury. Andy Reid was close to POTY for Forest this season, i can vouch for his exellent season. Not being in favour of Trap is not exactly a benchmark for ability, just look at some of those IN Trap's favour - McShane, O'Dea, Keogh, Sammon, Cox, Green!! Guys an absolute clown!!

Andy Reid was mentioned in reference to Dunphy, he could still do a far superior job for Ireland than at least half the current squad. How many championship clubs would prefer Reid in their midfield over daft Trap selections like Keogh and Cox who he regularly plays in midfield. Reid is out simply coz he stuck the head on Trap in front of the squad after being wrongly accused of instigating a late night sing song which Robbie keane organised. Trap arrived back from the pub with Brady thought the players were in bed and found them all singing in the hotel bar (not drinking) and Trap singled out Reid coz he had the guitar. Trap is a petulant childish 70+ year old bull in a china shop whose approach to football is 30 years behind the rest of the world. Now he's just an embarrassing old charlatan who refuses to retire preferring to delude himself that he's still relevant. Luckily for him he's employed by the weakest football body in world football so he'll get away with outrageously behaving like the out of date imbecile that he is!!

Just reinfriocing the point that Andy Reid's exclusion has nothing to do with football, same as others whose proud international careers have been ended by this hositle egomaniacal, tyrannous dinosaur!! If only someone would end his international career and put Irish football out of its misery!
