Luis Alberto

When I woke up this morning and my mate texted me that we had signed Luis Alberto, I thought he was lying. I genuinely did.
Not many will know about him, but I for one am absolutely thrilled that we have managed to snatch him up. He's got to be one of the hottest prospects from Spain right now (although, everyone is these days ).
In simplest form, I'd say he's an upgrade on Coutinho. Yes. An upgrade. His dribbling and passing is phenomenal and perhaps around the same as Phillipe. But skill on the ball is what edges it for him. Also, his shot is disgusting. He's can shoot from just about anywhere in a 30 yard radius with the same tenacity and power as the shot before.
Incredible signing, and I for one have to give credit to the staff who have made these first couple deals pull through. Every single doubt I had about the team so far we've got cover for. All we need now is maybe cover for LB/DM and perhaps a goalkeeper depending on whether Reina stays or not. And also, I'd hope we strengthen our strike force further should we sell Suarez.
On the Suarez matter, can people stop saying all this garbage like '£40m will be a huge disappointment, especially since we got Carroll for £35m'. I agree, 40 would be a bad deal, but stop using the excuse that we bought Carroll for 35. If that were the case, we'd be signing on youth player for £110m and then saying to everyone that we want no less than £120m for any of our players due to our previous deals.
It was our fault that we spent £35m, Madrid etc. won't care how much we bought an unknown Geordie for.
And can people also stop mentioning 'Bale's gonna go for £80m, that's half of £40m'. Yes we know. But for one, Bale has come to stardom being a lot younger than Suarez. Also, Bale hasn't got a bad reputation (it's not even worth calling Suarez' reputation as bad, it's unheard of). Ok, Bale dives around a lot, but I doubt the Spanish clubs would give too much of a dam.
All in all, great signing for us in Alberto, and a heads up that if we don't sell Suarez for the price of the moon, don't be overly surprised.

Luis Alberto has appeared in at least a dozen Snuff Films, under the pseudonym of "Juan Gloucetra".

Interesting article. But if we do end up losing Suarez i cant help but feel it will be used as an excuse for not finishing where we want. Luis is an outstanding player and deserves better then fighting for 7th in the premier league. However I would rather he be straight about it rather then using the media to get an easy route out.

He's a very talented player, and tbh, he's not seen as one of the hottest talents in Spain. He barely gets called up for the U21s. I've only read that there exists interest from LFC, and other clubs like City. No bid so far, well according to Roberto Arrocha, the most reliable journalist in Seville.

Barca have until the 15th of June to activate the buy-out clause (€4m + 25% sell on fee + appearance fees = could be around €7-8m, that's why Barca haven't activated it yet, they want to bring it lower, something del Nido will never accept due to the financial troubles at the club. Take or it leave it type of deal, I would say.)

Unai Emery, our current manager, expects him to return from loan and be part of the first-team for next season.
In my honest opinion it would be better for him to return to Sevilla (something I think will happen) for his development and growth, I don't think he's mature enough to go to England at this age. Better to begin with (first team football) at a place where he's grown up and wants to succeed.

P.S: I'm not an #ITK person, I don't personally know him. All my info and details are from very reliable journalist and close people to him on Twitter. I've seen him play since 2010, he's a very good player for his age. With the right guidance and continuity he could become a very good player.

P.S.S: forget the Xavi/Iniesta mould Balague told you about. He's nothing like that, he's more similar player (playing style) to Valerón. That's the comparison he's grown up with ever since playing for the u18s.
