Januzaj - Barca and Juve circling

His agent has admitted that 2 other clubs are interested in his services...Barca and Juventus. That just shows you how much potential this youngster has if given more chances. United really need to tie him up urgently because his agent did confirm that the contract talks were delayed after Fergie's resignation. The plus is that his current one ends in 2014. Now that Gill is gone I'm hoping Ed Woodward also works swiftly on transfers like David Gill used to...even in Fergie's absence.

Nan, don't think it's that simple. His contract would have been signed a few years ago and he's only just burst onto the scene.

I think we give contracts when other teams are interested to fend them off. No point in just giving players bigger and bigger contracts if there is not even a demand for them

How good is he on a scale of Welbeck to Macheda?

Considering his age probably not as good as either...

Hopefully as he starts breaking into the first team he will look more like a Welbeck in terms of ability rather than a Macheda.

We have a few crop of youngsters to be impressed about, whether they make it is hard to tell. I hope they do.
