What Series is the Best

Bit of debate in the office this morning about which of the below series is the best.

I have seen all of the below, and they are all great in their own way.

5 star - The Wire
4 Star - 24
3 Star - early Prison Break
2 Star - Breaking Bad
1 Star - Sopranos


For me though, the intricacy and realness of the Wire makes it some of the best TV ever produce in my opinion. Outstanding use of little known (at the time) and hungry actors. Great story, and touches on several aspects such as the relationship between crime and police, politics, racial issues, even homosexuality.


which is your favourite and why?

I realise that there are other series that are supposed to be great but lets keep this discussion to the above mentioned.
