I neither know nor care if mccoist was telling the truth, I just find it odd that someone would not believe anything said by one group of people who have lied in the past (tabloids) but take as gospel anything said by another group who have lied in the past (managers).

At what point have I claimed not to believe what McCoist has said? The way so many of you seem to be struggling to understand the fairly basic points I'm making is quite worrying.

Imagine a scenario (hopefully this can help you understand) - Yesterday the Daily Record says rangers will sell for £1.7million. Then in a press conference today, McCoist says they got £3million. Do you think the rangers board would be full of celtic fans defending McCoist and admitting they had been mistaken with their valuation of Bougherra?
Or do you think they would be pointed to the figure quoted in the press and calling "Fat Sally" a liar?

I'm am (still) not talking about who was correct in this case - I'm saying its hypocritical to only believe what people are saying when its suits your agenda and call them liars at other times. Do you understand yet? It's really not that hard.
