Without L Suarez goals.

Guess what....Liverpool would have finished 7th. No difference then and there is a very valid arguement to say that in coutinho and sturridge we have already replaced him!

Interesting isnt it. With him the team is a very good team, without him....the team is a very good team. Essentially, without suarez those missed passes, missed shots at goal may well be turned into assists and scored goals.

One point, in my mind and the games without do show he actually isnt that important to Liverpool....a nice to have, a very talented player, a genius; but the truth is our position in the league remains unaffected by his goals. Stay or go......ah, whatever mate.

If you can get a consistent season out of Sturridge he'll easily get around 20 goals at least.

LS7....Not saying that mate, but rather that his goals didnt affect Liverpools position in the league and the £50M would probably compensate for his loss.

What was that GB?

Of course 50 million or so would soften the blow...but as an LFC fan and also a general football fan I would far rather have him in the team.

Also he is a definite one in a million player and not one who comes round often, we would certainly be in a stronger position if we were adding to him and building around him rather than replacing him.

If Madrid want him then that says it all really.

He is world class, we cannot afford to lose him. We need more players of his calibre to add to the team so we can be back up with the big boys.

Given the trouble he brings, honestly i can't see a lot of teams lining up for 50mil...30mil is more likely

I reckon any offers of 30m will be swiftly rebuffed.

There's no chance of him going for that low a fee. It's simple really, whoever wants him has got to cough up or shut up. I'm glad that we are holding out for £50m plus, he is worth at least that in today's market. Plus Real Madrid are hardly known for their excellent morals, I don't think they'll give a hoot about his baggage.
