Rams in Dublin

Great news to hear that Richard Keogh has bagged his first international goal for the Republic of Ireland on his first start, and that Conor Sammon and Jeff Hendrick both assisted Robbie Keane in scoring his two goals.

But who was the best Derby County player to ever play for Ireland?
Toss up between Gerry Daly and Dave Langan for me!

Smart movement from Keane for his brace. We're missing a player like that.

We get to the byline quite often, but our players either hide behind defenders or wait for the ball to be pulled back to the edge of the area. As soon as Sammon picked up the ball Keane knew where it was going and made sure he was first there.

On the break, although he initially gets in Hendrick's way, Keane pulls away to create a bit of extra space whilst leaving himself open for the pass.

A cynic might argue that a lot of championship players would look good against Georgia, but you can only beat what's put in front of you as we have seen in our recent trips to the City Ground.
