I heard someone say Moyes will have to start the season well to avoid criticism. But man Utd always start badly.
Look at the last 12 years and where Man Utd were in the league at the end of Oct:
2012-13 2nd
2011-12 2nd
2010-11 3rd
2009-10 2nd
2008-09 6th
2007-08 2nd
2006-07 1st
2005-06 7th
2004-05 7th
2003-04 3rd
2002-03 4th
2001-02 5th
So, please, give Moyers a chance, even if he is not no. 1 in October!

August–December [edit]
Manchester United started the season by drawing their opening two games against Reading and Portsmouth.[2][3] United lost Wayne Rooney to a foot injury picked up against Reading and Cristiano Ronaldo to suspension after he was sent off for appearing to headbutt Portsmouth's Richard Hughes.[4][5] A derby defeat to Manchester City saw the club slip into 17th place in the table.[6] Results elsewhere pushed them into the relegation zone for the first time in years.[7]

Yeah, we were good in the run in then. Just as well, as Liverpool were quality that season.

But as a whole Christmas is a good time for us Kag.
So if Treble hunting was SAF's excuse for a poor start, what the dangnammit was Moyes'???

"There's this myth that we always end the season well based on clawing Arsenal and Newcastle back 15 years ago, but it isn't really the case. A while ago, I read a stat that completely refuted this myth, albeit I couldn't get it right now."
I read that as well. Arsenal and Chelsea have historically been the best in the league over the last 10 games.

United are always best in the 2nd half of the season so I wouldn't be overly concerned at a slow start.

I think a lot of that is to do with squad size.
He isn't going to have that problem with us.
By the way, they got off to a great start last season.

I read something from Moyes as to the reason for that VC
He apparantly changed his pre-season routines in order to combat the slow starts and it worked

I beg to differ, not many do I agree but the great Hassan Nasrallah certainly does.

RVPs, I recall that you were particularly strident in your condemnation of Suarez for racially abusing Evra. However, you descibe as 'great ' the leader of an avowedly racist organisation. How bizarre
