No goals in 37 games for Sevilla - Navas is the Spanish Stewart Downing.

I respect Sheriff opinion. He's a good poster.
You should be the last person telling me that though.

In the past Navas had a much more consistent Negredo/Reyes to work with. Each year, the team has seemed to have regressed (due to money issues). Yet Navas's exceptional form from September to January helped Sevilla really challenge the top 4, the 5-1 win over Betis was one of the greatest team performances I have ever seen with Navas playing exceptionally.
If only our resident Sevillite (or whatever its called) Dr F was here to agree with how exceptional Navas has been

When did I call him or his opinion "stupid"?
Just do yourself a favour.
Go and jump on that 'Emma Watson' thread, gossiping about me.
Sad, sad.

Fully agree with everything moistthighs has said on this thread.
Pellegrini knows.
As for Cazorla/Navas, Cazorla can do what Navas done, and has proved it. Could Navas do what Cazorla does? Rotundly, no."

To Sherrif:
Kind of ludicrous to call him an average player, I honestly doubt you've seen him play week in week out. Guess that you're one of those type of guys who judge players based on stats/FIFA/Youtube, whatever.
The level he's playing at this season is at a very high level, especially for a team who's underachieved over the last 3 years. I wouldn't say we are a "one man team" but we do rely A LOT on him. 5-1 win v Betis, 1-0 v RM, 3-0 vs Espanyol are some of his best performances this season.
I'd even say he's been our most consistent player over the last 3 years, .
He's improved his game/aspects since '09-10 season; movement, he's become more creative (actually our main source of creativity this season), more versatile etc etc. He's basically become less predictable and is (in my opinion) in his prime.
He'll become a valuable asset for City/Pellegrini as long as he's mentally strong to adapt to the Manchester rain.
