The lack of action at the moment seems to have some fans a bit worried however I would like to remind people of the last few close seasons.
Billy's first one was very quiet then all of a sudden we announced our first signing (Adebola I think) and this was quickly followed by Camp, Dex, Gunter, McKenna, Lynch, McGoldrick and Raddi on loan.
In the next one we were going to sign Whittingham, Pratley and Shorey (not forgetting MArthur's infamous they want to sign for us claim about Pratley and Whittingham). We signed - no one
The next one we were signing Routledge, Maynard, Beckford, Verhoek etc. We ended up with a load of flops (Reid aside).
Then the last one it was very quiet apart from Pep and all of a sudden there was Collins and another glut of players most of whom came in under the radar.
Hopefully this close season is one where we are doing our business behind closed doors away from the prying eyes of the media. I for one am confident we will be bringing in quality players to enhance our squad
Quiet, the way I like it

Supposedly McCan has signed according to John Percy and Ward has as well but we are waiting until the new kit is sorted until we unveil them for some reason.
Also Nathalie Jackson said another signing is coming in, in the next week or so.
Agree with you Jacko though, some people think as there is a lock-down of information being leaked from Forest that things are going badly but going off last season, it could be quite the opposite

I really hope we sneak in and pip Johnny Russell from Direby! He's far too good a player to playing for that shower of hoofers

Wouldn't surprise me if that was there goal of the season as they are so obsessed about us.

With the kit thing it makes you wonder if we do have new sponsors lined up. We couldn't really be showing a new kit with new sponsors name on it while John Pye are our official shirt sponsors.

I'd rather it was all kept under the radar and feel that Billy Davies will be thinking the same. Prattinghamgate was one of the most embarrassing episodes of the Marthur years. Let the media play their guessing games whilst business is done properly.
I thought John Pye had signed up for another year. Like having a local sponsor just like when it was Shippo's! Let some airline sponsor the ground. We'd still call it the City Ground regardless.
