Thinks finishing 12th with Birmingham was a better feat than Town's 43 game unbeaten run. Hey Clark, that run counted for nothing, it didn't get us promoted, you got sacked, we never thought it was much of a feat in the first place! Apart from Mirf!

During the 43 game unbeaten run I got the impression Clark was so obsessed with not ending the run that all he was trying to do was not lose! Instead of trying to win games!
Agree with Champers, where is the transfer news

Just one final word on Wor Lee's 43 match unbeaten run. It included 25 wins and 18 draws producing 93 league points at an average of 2.163 points/game.
Now in anybodies language (except the usual bunch of Town ostriches) had this average been maintained over a full league season then it would have produced 99 points and CERTAIN auto promotion.
So I say which ever way you look at it, it was a truly brilliant acheivement by Wor Lee, the like of which the "Ostriches" will likely never witness again in their life times.
So I say to Wor Lee, very well done mate.

as I said at the time..mirf and others didn't sit through games like Dagenham away, where it looked like both managers "agreed" to take the draw with 20 odd minutes to go... spineless and utterly pointless in the final outcome..
waving clark and others back at Brentford after hunt had "broken the rules" by getting forward and getting us a corner at the death..
thankfully p clark showed who ruled the "roost" at town and went up anyway and scored to win the game..
I seriously hope that robbins is more positive...we do ok when we are positive..
Leicester in for Vaughan, depends now on how teams/doctors view his playing "history"...
we took a big gamble with his wages for a season and it paid off, it may not do again..
with his injury record we cant get involved in a bidding war, we would probably lose but may pay far too much if we just happen to win it..
lets hope robbins finds 4/5 unknowns(to us) that do the business...
lets see how many clubs get caught under the new financial rules as well.. I understand there will be no warnings, straight in big penalties...I agree with the league on this one, before football eats itself..

Whilst I too agree with the financial rules 38, why is the Football League under strict restrictions yet Premier League clubs can still pretty much spend what they want?? As if the gap wasn't already big enough.
I pray for the day that the big clubs f-ck off and play in some European Superleague. As things stand, we will NEVER have the chance to see Town in the Champions League, which is bollox and makes you wonder why us fans bother with it at all anymore?
Financial Fair Play? Perhaps if you have a huge stadium and sh-tloads of chinks buying your shirts for no apparent reason...

...........
38,I totally agree, bit of a bug bare with me that leeds can have their wages at 46% of their 30 odd mill turnover while a club like Leicester that had only 21 mill turnover in their last accounts but 121% in wages!!!!!in short 27 mill wages with 21 mill turn over.no warnings and demotion to next league down sounds good to me.

its fair that clubs that take more at the gate can spend more on wages..
its also fair that clubs that work hard for sponsors and outside investment can also funnel some of that into wages..
what we need to get shut of is billionaires just throwing a miniscule part of their disposable cash at football and overpaying in transfers and wages that get everyone in the sh-t in their vain attempts to keep up or at least try to compete..

Disagree. Why shouldn't billionaires be allowed to spend what they want?! It's their money and its clubs borrowing from the banks that causes the real problems.
You take away the likes of Mansour & Abramovich and you're left with Man United winning the league EVERY year as every c-nt from Plymouth to Pyongyang buys their shirts.
What chance do a Barnet or a Halifax have if they can't be open to the possibility of a rich benefactor coming in and buying them up the league ladder?
I'll tell you......f-ck all.
Portsmouth, Leeds, Birmingham....bad business idea.
City & Chelsea....nothing wrong with that. It keeps the league interesting at least.
