Haymaker, completely agree, take away top and bottom 10% of performances and then you see what you are going to get most of the time.

On the surface the signing looks nothing special but BM has a decent track record of lower level signings and not every player comes through the conventional route, just look at Ian Wright or Jermaine Beckford.

I'm hoping he'll not be first choice striker this season and that BM will look for someone to challenge RM and SM for places up front along with Poleon.

Replacement for Becchio then....if he's only good in the air.

Bradford Park Ave, me and me mates played against them must be knocking up 30..yrs ago, beat them 3v1 at theirs!..

To us a cup final because we were a bunch of lads that arranged and played whoever wanted a game!..

So, us being nobody's, must be the same as when they play pre-season games against the likes of Leeds eh?.

I don't know to much about them now but they were one of the top amature clubs in the country in them days!..

Eric, we were the nobodys from the Knowle, Bracken Bank!.

I think its now the Bracken Arms if I'm not mistaken!..

We were so good we even played the Keighley Post, they had a decent team as well, but were unlucky enough to give us a I'm not sure I think 11v1 or 13v1 dubbing!.

After them days I went in the forces and found to my astonishment that I wasn't really fit enough to play them sort of teams!..

So, being nobody that had a go we weren't really that bad!.

I dare say with Neil we would have won promotion!.
