Its over. Sony basically let MS shoot themselves in the foot over and over again.

You do wonder if Microsoft have any idea what goes on in the real world.
They must surely realise there is some form of competition in the consoles market and they can't get away with the same arrogance they display with their Windows operating system i.e. take it or leave it.

In short, I will get a PS4 within a year of its coming out, and I will probably get an XBox One in 10 years' time when the price has gone down to less than £50.

Is the ps4 going to be sold at a loss as well? It seems pretty cheap. I think I will buy it straight away. I just hope gta 5 comes out for it.

But you need to log on to xboxlive once every 24 hours, if they stopped onlione support by then it's just a useless brick(doh at microsoft, not you)

GTA5 already looks immense, on current gen. Imagine what they'll make for a much more powerful system.

Interesting read on PS4. May end up similar to XBone. MS are enforcing the DRMs themselves while PS4 will let third party publishers decide. So it may end up in a similar situation.
