Strikers

Assuming we go for a striker this summer who do people want
A negredo for 15m+ with no resale
A aubemyang for 10-15m with resale value and potential
A kone for 5-8m either unproven or old but leaves more cash for the rest of the squad

Aubemyang is my choice young enough to improve can also play RW if jely hits form

Aubameyang is awesome. He said he wants CL football and to go to Germany. Leverkeusen are most likely to get him apparently.

I'm gonna carry on dreaming

If Tottenham are touting Defoe around I'd be happy, will score goals wherever he is well into his thirties I reckon...

Don't think Kone would be too bad. What has been the deal with Jelavic this year? Can't see Defoe leaving London. He'd probably end up at Fulham if he did get punted.

I like kone but he's 29 Defoe goes missing and is 30 personally want someone under 25. Don't know what's up with jelavic he gets into position then misses the ball his confidence is shot.

We need a cocky young striker, no one too experienced but someone who is ruthless and liked by the team to be molded in to a legend...don't care who tbh

Kone is a no, no for me. Jela will get better service next season and we have options coming through. Kev, Barkley can add 20 a season between them.
Just please not Kone

I'd think outside the box as regards strikers. There was a striker last season who scored 12 goals for a team that got relegated. The striker in question was not a first choice starter but often cam off the bench with 20-30 minutes to go and scored vital goals.

This striker could be bought for £2-3million his wages would be low and he could be utilised as a specialist super sub.Adam Le Fondre proved in the lower leagues he has an eye for goal,in his one season in the premiership he proved he wasn't premiership class for a full 90 minutes, but he also proved playing against tiring premiership defenders and with his clinical finishing that given chancers more often than not he'd find the back of the net.

Not saying he's ideal for us,but he scored as many prem goals as any of out players for a far worse team with fewer minutes on the pitch.

When you look at our games over the last few seasons the biggest problem has been someone to finish the chances we create. The likes of Le Fondre coming on in the last 20 mins against defenders who are more prone to switch off due to the 70 mins they've already played could be the difference between 1 and 3 points. That's what we should be looking for
