Well its started to happen early the Aussies are losing it already with Warner the tough guy first to crack.
So Warner thinks its legally/morally acceptable to go around punching people as he cant handle his pop,Im sure you or I would have ended up in the Big house in Birmingham if we had attacked him don't you?.
Warner like many of his teammates such as Langer,Hayden,Symonds etc seem to have a little fuse missing ,especially the gnome Langer when presented with a little drink or a defeat.
Should charges be made against him?, but I hope now he stays as the English crowd will be all over him like a rash this summer as will the press. Also I think our bowlers will rip him apart and expose his poor technique this summer, so lets hope he stays and the crowd do a Mitchell Johnson job on him..

I was watching Sky Sports and some people are calling him a serial offender which is complete BS IMO.
In the IPL he was perfectly right to have a twitter rant. You can't make an IPL Article about Spot/Match Fixing and put up a picture if David Warner as he had nothing to do with it.
It was was searching the web in a few years times and that article came up i would actually think that he was involved.
Regarding his punch up it was wrong and he should be punished/fined.

The bloke is a disgrace. As Yorkie rightfully stated, I wonder how brave he'd have been if it was someone like Tredwell or Pietersen in front of him instead of Root.
I just hope he doesn't get sent home as I'm looking forward to making my feelings clear towards the at Old Trafford as are many others I expect.

Am I the only one totally disgusted with the weak Aussie "punishment".
He's suspended until the Ashes start.
Well whoopy doo! Big punishment!
He's going to miss one match in a tourney his team are already half-way out of.
To be honest, such a pathetic punishment is tantamount to the Aussie management condoning what he did. How about being sent home in disgrace? That would send out the right message.

Your acting like Warner battered Root and left him within an inch of his life.
From what i read he barely tapped him and you'd see move violence on a Friday night.

"From what i read......"
Well that's that settled then.

Hows that settled?
i didn't see Root with a black eye the next day, he looked fine and chirpy. Not the actiones of someone who had the crap beaten out of him

I don't get what you're trying to say, though it looks awfully like you're saying unless someone gets an absolute tw-tting, then it doesn't really count....
One professional assaulted another. Whether it was a backhanded slap or 100 punches to the kidneys, it's still an assault, it's still embarrassing and it's still absolutely deplorable.
If somebody decides to punch you for no reason, would you find that acceptable?

Im not defending Warner all in saying is that the handbags that went on in the pub has been blown way out of proportion.

"Handbags" generally involves two people having a minor spat. This is one guy hitting another without any provocation. Not only that but he's a professional who is representing his country.
Brush it off if you want, but it was a very serious breach of conduct and he's been very lucky to only get the disciplinary action imposed on him.
Us English love a pantomime villain though and since Hayden, Punter, Warne & McGrath retired it was inevitable someone else would fill that void sooner rather than later

"Im not defending Warner"
yep, you are.
I presume attitudes like yours are why he's got a non-punishment from the Aussie tour management.
