Not saying it happening, but was told today by someone I do trust # that Fellaini has agreed 4 year deal. Announcement next
A fairly reliable source has said that. Honestly if this is true, then Wenger can fook off.
The guy is an oaf. No technical ability, poor ball control, ugly style. The only one thing that is even remotely good about his game is him chesting the ball down.
However to use that he'd have to play behind the striker, or as the striker. For that to work he'd have to either take Santi/Tomas's spot, which has no chance of happening, or take the striker positon, which I doubt will happen.
He hasn't been playing in midfield because he's not good there. He's not in the Yaya mould, he hasn't got the agility or speed. He's not a defensive mid either.
Not Fellaini!

Is the op on drugs? I guess he has only ever watched him on sky playing as a striker...

A lot of people saying they don't want Fellaini but I think he'd be great for us.
I was calling for him to be signed in January so I'd be delighted if this news is true.
Or would people prefer us to go to August 31st without signing anyone?

Fellaini has been very inconsistent, yeah he is big and powerful but an awful tackler and distributor. Would I be happy if we signed him? Well I will not be displeased he is a good player but nothing special.

I would check out his position in the rankings on Bloomberg Sports' Power 50 player evaluation index.
If thats not accurate the Cazorla must be a terrible player

You can prove anything on youtube if you look hard enough. Just need to find the right clip from someone who wants to make a point.
I think Fellani would be brought in to challenge Arteta and Ramsey for a place and provide rotation rather than trying to replace our attacking players who are technically better than him.
Diaby is reported to be fit so Fellani is probably his replacement for when he get injured again before the season starts.

Fellaini is not an attacking player. He is a CM and would show Arteta how to defend....break up play... (but not how to ping a 50yd pass)
Said this before, he is the closest to a Viera I had seen here until Toure came to City.

Does anyone remember him killing ManUtd first game of season?! Terrific player. Only a fool would say he's poor.
