Has it been confirmed that PS+ is needed for online multiplayer gaming on the PS4 and/or Xbox live Gold for the XBOX One?
If so, how much do either/both cost per year?
Help would be appreciated
PS+ vs Gold

Difference is with xbox programs you get to keep the free games they offer forever.

You keep the PS games as long as you have PS+ and lets be honest you will just keep renewing it so it's basically the same thing. Stop hiding from the fact that PS4 is superior

Gervinho - Unfortunately no - you will never ever be able to play the current PS3 games on a PS4 (as in take a PS3 file and play it straight on the PS4), the systems are too different.
In the future though there will be other options to get the games which will be PS3 classics as remastered PS4 games and streaming via Gaikai

When you say streaming, will that mean paying for the game again or entering the code for a ps3 game disc?

...which you already have. So the game itself will be free

Doubt it CSTP - like PS2 classics you will pay a discounted price to play the disc you may already have on the PS4. But i think a lot of people will have PS3 and PS4s hanging around as they still have pretty good uses. My PS3 will just be relegated to the bedroom for PS3 games and Net TV stuff

No one has mentioned the gold will be able to be shared across 2 consoles

You can also do that with PSN+
