Group C
Edin

Edin finally makes his debut after promising to do so for a while. He has been one of the unlucky lot to be drawn a poor team however the group isn’t the strongest it could’ve been so there is some hope here. I’ve literally no idea regarding how strong of a player he is, he could be better than Kent by 100% or worse than Tez was by the same margin who knows? All I can really predict is a learning curve for him in an average group.
Verdict: Group-Stages
Choice
Team: Spartak Moscow
Odds: 8 – 1
Previous tournament performances: Group Stage, semi-final, Group Stage, Quarter-Final, Group Stage, Group Stage
Ranked: 13th
Through various reasons Choice’s presence has been missing since the German tournament but he is now back and has a strong team to boot. Choice is like marmite when he is playing, either really good or really bad so he best hit the ground running as this is his big tournament chance. I can’t shake the feeling he is going to bow to the pressure though with Fab and Pope both shaping up to be tough opponents and God knows how Edin will fare. Everybody wants to see Choice get through, me included so let’s hope he doesn’t let his huge fanbase down including Jordan Marlowe.
Verdict: Group-Stages
Pope
Team: FC Krasnodar
Odds: 7 – 1

So Robert Whippy is ere to finally try and get out of them group stages. This probably represents his best chance yet, in the other groups he had they were always one or two big guns to contend with where this one is quite open and I can see him taking advantage. The key games will be against Fab and Choice if he can get out of them with 4 points then he will be on his way to the knock-out round. As for that round well I think he best just enjoy it whilst he can as it probably won’t last long.
Verdict: Quarter-Finals
Fab
Team: Rubin Kazan
Odds: 6 – 1
Previous Tournament performances: Group-Stage, Group-Stage, Group Stage, Qualifying Round
Ranked: 23rd
Fab classes this tournament as his big chance and it’s not hard to see why. Decent team and a decent group to match will probably see him get outta the group stage for the first time in his tournament history. I think he will beat Edin and Pope whilst maybe dropping points against Choice City. Like Robert Whippy I think the knock-outs will be a relatively short affair for him, but who knows if he gets a kind draw he could be this tournaments dark horse.
Verdict: Quarter-Finals
Predicted Tournament Standings:
1. Fab 7 pts
2. Pope 5 pts
------------------------------------------------
3. Choice 4 pts
4. Edin 0 pts
