Both areas we need to improve for next season, but where should the big money go?
Up front we've got
Defoe - good for half a season
Ade - fack knows, definitely worth another season
Dempsey ?
Centre mid
Dembele - class and getting better
Sandro - beast
Parker - supposedly off to join Harry
Hudd - Fulham?
Jake - not good enough
Carroll - not ready
Holtby - needs time to settle
Looking at that I'd say a quality centre mid is essential, especially if we ever switch to AVB's fabled 433 formation.
Given a choice of giving one of the kids a run in midfield or having Deuce as a striker though, and it's a lot harder...

What centre backs would you suggest? I was going for those with premier league experience. Would you be happy with a Shawcross for example.
We're still unsure what the score is with left back also. The signs were that BAE would be leaving but everything is quiet at the minute.

I didn't say Holtby would start, just that he can play in that deeper position. Going into the season with Dembele, Sandro, Paulinho, Holtby and Carroll as our options there are strong, so the likes of Parker, Hudd and Livermore probably should be moved on. Our main source of creativity should come from a left sided playmaker, and that's our priority imo, because Dempsey and Siggy shouldn't really start for us either, but keep them as squad players because they'll both chip in with goals for sure

AVB has stated we will only have 4 centre backs for next season, only way we will sign one is if we sell one.

Im more concerned with up front to be honest.
the reason we are not hearing anything is because everyone is on holiday. Not just the pkayers but executuves aswell.
