PS4 currently has 73.83% of the votes compared to Xbox Ones 26.17%
It may not mean much but it's a small indicator of maybe where the gaming fans will be going
PS4 v Xbox One

It's crazy that you can't play games offline. That alone would make stop me buying one. I live in central London and I don't have a great internet connection -- surely I can't be the only one?

Yeah good internet isn't as easy to come by in the world as it may seem in the West. It basically means that you can't play an offline RPG or Fifa career mode without some form of internet connection, which is totally ludicrous.

I almost always play single player games/modes. When I do have a go at multiplayer games I usually do it the old fashioned way of having a friend(s) over and do it on one tv.
That said I have a great Internet connection so it doesn't matter. So far I am definitely leaning towards ps4.

Xbox in Japan has a bad rep. And since most of the games are purn related calling it the Xbox One has made thngs worse. I forgot what it was I read, but apprently Xbox one not sounds like purn dog or something. The little fans they do have in Japan are complaining about the name. They should have probably localised the name instead of using the English name for it....

Xbox in Japan doesn't have a bad rep. They will just always buy Japanese first.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. The Japanese manufacturers do have home advantage but the MS never really did too much to win over the local market. They treated it as if it were the same as the US or the UK and the fact that most of the games that did come out ended up being purn games hasn't helped it win mainstream acceptence, which is a shame as the 360 was better an aoverall console than the PS3, just the PS3 already cornered the market there with the games to appeal to the Japanese console gamers.

I think the PS4 will wipe the floor with Xbone. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 70/30 sales in favour of the PS4 after its first year on the shelfs.

The PS Vita will connect a lot better with the PS4 than it did 3. You will be able to remote play your PS4 games on the vita!
Also to alleviate Xbox users fears re internet connection, due to the extremely high number of servers they'll have it won't really matter if you have a slow connection I've read. As long as you can get 1MBps?
