Opening match fixture

Yes it had to happen! With our old manager joining our rugby supporting neighbors it was destiny that we would start the new league season against who else? Wiga...... oh wait no, it's actually another club he's previously managed, our old pals the dingles mkII, Burnley.

In a copy of last season's opening game it's away again, hopefully this time with a happier ending, i've gone to that shed that Burnley call a stadium twice now in recent years and we've lost both times. Will anybody be making the trip as I most likely will this time around?

Oh yeah and because we we're both founding members of the football league the fixture has been earmarked for the 125th anniversary of the football league, not sure what that will entail, any ideas?

I hope someone hasn't beaten me to it again like the only other two articles i've written.
