Being a fan of this board and seeing as its been somewhat squashed under the boot of Venky insanity like most things Rovers, I figured its about time I did a topic. So, now the fixtures are out and pre-season is only 2 and a half weeks away, lets have some predictions about the coming season. I've put 7 things to have a guess at, with my own prediction next to them (forever the optimist), fire away!

You’re such a pessimist. Look at the table; we’re already 3rd in the league!

A romantic meal for 2 with Steve Kean.

would you not expect Judge and Taylor to play a bigger role?
I'd be suprised if Pedersen was a regular starter, same with Goodwillie.

I think we will have another hard season !Rhodes will go as a Premier club will pay top dollar and that is cash in the bank!I want my club to climb out of this Maelstrhom but with the Shebby gang I dont see this going to happen,it will be a new manager and the same old daft goings on!I really and truly hope im wrong.the whole Ewood set up is a farce.I just feel sorry for our long suffering fans.

Well, if reports are to be believed, a number of the crazy gang in the boardroom last season are on their way out of the door and more people who know football are coming in.
It may be another false dawn but I'll remain optimistic.

I'd be surpised if Rhodes goes to the prem. He is a fantastic finisher, but I don't think his all round game is ready for the top division. Most top teams play one up front and I don't think he is ready for that.
plus I doubt we'd sell for a loss, and a team would be foolish to pay more than 8 million for him (IMHO). People say that by scoring 30 goals last season his value has gone up, but I'd say that is the least you'd expect for an 8 million striker in the Championship.
