Now is the time

Well Guys, I've not said much on this site recently, but, back to it.

I am a bit disconcerted that, since the end of the season, we have decimated our good side without yet bringing in any replacements.
I don't want to have to wait until August, when only the dross is left.
Other clubs are taking our good players now. They must have plans, we don't to have any. Maybe the owners don't want to fork out & will want to make a side of loanees.
No doubt we will have a load of friendlies pre-season, & maybe a tour somewhere. What is the point of those if we have to change it all as the season starts?
Tried posting this earlier, but it didn't seem to work.

Out of the country so this/will be brief.

Great to see you back ck on here Red. We've certainly cut our cloth I'm just hoping that by the end of the week we've got a few more bodies around and that Ward stays!

Don,
The defence has gone, the midfield too. We are still left with the mediocre strikers we had last season. Had they performed better, none of our good players would have left & we would have a settled side going into the new season. As it is, we don't have a settled defence, nor midfield & still ain't bought a decent striker. Now is the time to do it, 'cos whatever we do to fill in the gaps behind him, I am sure that they will be no better & cost more than what we had already.
Don't mend what ain't broke, just improve on it.
But we've not done that.
Still we shall see.

Players are on trial and they are being signed. Couple of Spurs boys signing and it seems that Caddis is back in the fold, for now at least.

Wes has signed, fantastic news! Also the two lads signed today look good acquisitions. Hoping for more incomings this week.
